Even as a child I imagined myself in the art field. I studied art restoration and theory of art. I worked for many years in both fields and at the same time found resource for my creativity in jewelry designing and making. What started as a hobby finally won me over.
It all begun in 2008 when, together with the artist Laura Perez-Ortega, we created Alanima, to share our fascination for unexpected color combinations in contemporary handmade jewelry.
I design fresh and funky jewelry. My work is characterized by vibrant colors, curves and geometrical lines. I believe that joyful and playful designs have a positive impact on our mood and my best reward is to see people enjoying to wear my jewelry. I often draw inspiration from Latin America and Africa, but also from modernism art movements.
